…Easter Eggs D.I.Y…

…Happy Easter 2010…

My 1st Easter Egg, and this is what I put, an Easter Bunny, which have been with my memory about 2 decades ago…My impression about Easter…

I would like to wish every Christian Happy Easter! When the local time reached 12.00am sharp on 4th of April, everyone of you will celebrate Easter! One of the most important event in Christians Calendar…

Well, according to my friend, today is the day where Jesus was resurrected from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion…….

As a Buddhist, honestly, I just knew what is the true meaning of Easter recently, before this I always thought that it is another great holiday to sleep… Sorry for not knowing it…

Still remember The Easter Bunny which holds a lots of colorful eggs? For those who is staying in Malaysia, I’m sure that all of you have seen this before in the calendar… Well, the eggs are the symbolize of the day…

Never in my life thinking before of doing one of the Easter Egg myself, this is because I never see they sell the materials back to my motherland, Malaysia.

And today, I made one myself… Limshouzhi’s Easter Egg!!! Me and Xiangyun were celebrating Easter with Rose…

So, this is what I’m going to share with all of you, my 1st experience of doing Easter Egg…hehe…

1st, I’m going to show you the ingredients…

Eggs of course the most important materials you can’t missed…

The ingredients, the stickers, dyes, and the plastic wraps, this are what we found in Russia, i really don’t know whether other places got it or not…

And not to forget, vinegar, for dilute the dyes…

According to tradition, we usually eat the Easter Eggs after the celebration. But today, we made them just for decorations, this is because we want to keep it as our precious souvenirs…

So, this is how we did…

1st step…

Poked a small hole at one end of the egg, and we removed the egg white and egg yolk…

We removed about 30 eggs today, so we gonna have egg feast for the next 3 days… huhu… We fried it, steamed it, and….

2nd step, dilute the dyes…

We used the vinegar, about 2 tablespoons and then we put the dyes to dilute it, this is to color the eggs…

And see how beautiful it turned out…

And now, for the 3rd step

Dye the eggs into the color you like…

4th step, dried the eggs…

5th step…prepare the plastic wraps and heat up the stove…

Wrapped the egg with the plastic wraps…

6th Step…

Heat the egg together with the plastic wraps on the stove, do not turn the stove too hot!!!

When the plastic wraps met the heat, it will melted and it will fit the size of the egg…

And these are what will be…

Beside using of the plastic wraps, you also can use the stickers

See, this is how we made our Easter Egg…

It is so easy to make such a beautiful Easter by yourself, why not start one yourself?

The feelings? Well, it was great!!!

Happy Easter!

Wow, they are beautiful! Are you going to bring them back to Malaysia? If you do, Haha…!
Thanks for your Easter Wishes! Ya, it’s a big deal to us Christian. Without resurrection of Jesus, our belief is simply vain and meaningless. I’ve been living my faith base on that resurrecting power of Jesus Christ too 🙂 It’s always comforting to know that He lives and guide me all the while.

Happy Holidays to u brother 🙂
