…A day in Ipoh…

…A day in Ipoh…

Station Hotel,Ipoh

I’m blog again! hehe… Having my 4 days leave, and decided to bring my mother to Ipoh to search for some potteries to decorate our new house.

Ipoh, the capital city of Perak, what is Ipoh famous for? Of course famous for it’s mouth watering dim sums!!! Your day in Ipoh wouldn’t complete without these… There are 3 most famous dim sum restaurants there, Foh San, Ming Kok, and Yok Fook Moon Lau. But me and my family only prefer Foh San, because of it’s unique environment and varieties of dim sums…

After that, we dropped by Ipoh Railway Station, it bears similar architecture to that of the Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and is nicknamed the “Taj Mahal of Ipoh”. Like it’s unique architecture…

Well, Ipoh is famous for it’s pottery! You can get varieties of pots and ceramics here! And you can get the best price you can get elsewhere in Malaysia! (My mum so happy that she found her favorites here with superb price….;p)

While on my way back home, we stopped by Kuala Kangsar, the Royal City of Perak!

Just to visit another 2 great architectures of Tanah Melayu!

The Istana Kenangan – a charming wooden yellow and black painted building that captured the heart of each visitors… One of the greatest wooden building I’ve ever seen in Malaysia.

Ubudiah Mosque- this was designed by Arthur Benison Hubback, a government architect who is notably credited for the design of the Ipoh railway station and the Kuala Lumpur railway station.
